The Hour of Code Week is here! Can you take the challenge?

Hour of code

The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Anyone, anywhere can do an Hour of Code. One-hour tutorials are available in over 30 languages. No experience needed. Ages 4 to 104. This year’s Hour of Code week is December 7 – 13 .

Over the past two years,  100 million students worldwide have been introduced to computer science through the Hour of Code. In the UK, 8,299,227  have tried an HOUR of CODE™

We love coding so much at St Alban’s School that this year we are all taking part. Each class will carry out an hour of code and we will be joined by ex-pupil and real-life coder, Alex Browne who will be talking to the KS2 children in a special assembly about the skills you need to be a coder.

We will of course, let you know all about our hour, so watch this space!!
