Today, a few from our year 5 were weaving the willow dome because it was becoming over grown. It was hard weaving the willow, because the some of the branches had sharp stumps on the sticks that could graze our skin if we weren’t careful as we wove them through.
Some branches were quite high in the air so we had to jump for them! Now that it has been trimmed, by Mr Symmonds, it looks really neat and tidy.
We have used some of the trimmings to make a wattle fence for our wild flower meadow.
